Johnny - Clay, 2008

Nigel Mackenzie is a sculptor who specialises in portraits in bronze . He works from his studio in a beautiful corner of East Sussex and has built a reputation for making portraits that catch the essence of the people who sit for him. He is very experienced at sculpting young children. Over the twenty-five years that he has been accepting commissions he has sculpted a great many people – all of whom have been very pleased with the quality and speed of his work. A head and shoulders normally involves about six sittings.
